One of the Best Restaurants in Cornwall
We are immensely proud of the outstanding food produced by our talented team of chefs, led by the award-winning Paul Green, making our menus a contender for the best restaurant in Cornwall. Top-quality dining would not be possible without the team's commitment and passion for locally sourced, seasonal ingredients and produce.
To place ours amongst the best restaurants in Portscatho, we grace your plate with only the freshest seafood from Cornish waters, the most flavoursome meat reared from roaming cattle and the freshest vegetables from trusted local farmers.
Dining at the Driftwood restaurant in Cornwall is a relaxed affair. On warm evenings, begin with an aperitif or end with a post-dinner tipple on our decked terrace overlooking the crystal blue waters of Gerrans Bay.
Come the chillier months, sip a cocktail in our relaxed lounge, warmed by the crackling open fire.
Our menus change to reflect the seasons, so there's always a reason to return to our Portscatho restaurant and an excuse to try another bottle from our carefully curated wine cellar.
Our restaurant in Cornwall is open for light lunches and dinner. We can also cater for private lunches and celebrations. Why not treat someone special to a naughty but oh-so-good afternoon tea?
If you have an overnight booking, we urge you to book dinner reservations in advance so we can guarantee you a table at our Portscatho restaurant. Non-resident dinner bookings are welcome, but pre-booking is essential. We are delighted to take advance lunch, afternoon tea and cream tea bookings too - choose to relax with a bite to eat in our cosy lounge, on our terrace or in our gardens.
