Big winners at the AA rosette awards

Head Chef, Olly Pierrepont, has extensive Michelin level experience on his CV, but the transitional period of putting his own signature style on the kitchen came at peak inspection season, which meant the team at Driftwood anticipated the loss of its Michelin star.

The Michelin-starred restaurant at the Driftwood hotel in Cornwall has appointed Oliver Pierrepoint as head chef.
Pierrepoint will take over the reigns of the kitchen on 7 August from Chris Eden who is moving to the role of executive head chef at Gidleigh Park in Chagford, Devon, after 12 years at Driftwood.
