Christmas Getaway by the Coast 

Sea view dining, great hospitality and festive celebrations. Escape the festive chaos this year and join us for a peaceful Christmas break by the sea. Relax by the fire in our cosy sea view lounge, feast on gourmet dining created by Head Chef, Paul Green, and his team, and sleep to the sounds of the waves from your boutique bedroom.

A Driftwood Christmas includes:

Saturday 23rd December: Arrive in the afternoon and enjoy a welcome glass of fizz and some festive treats. Dinner will be a three-course affair.

Christmas Eve: After a hearty breakfast, perhaps a walk into Portscatho or for the keener walkers, a longer walk to Portloe. Canapés and Champagne before a delicious seven course tasting menu with wine pairing in the Evening. Transport will be arranged for those who wish to visit the beautiful Church at St Just in Roseland for Midnight Mass, and a mug of hot chocolate will be waiting on your return.

Christmas Day: Enjoy a full English breakfast with a glass of bucks’ fizz to start the day in style. Maybe enjoy a winter walk along the coastal path, we can meet you with a warming hot drink along the way. For Christmas lunch, a three course with all the trimmings awaits, and then if you have room, festive snacks will be served in the afternoon. In the evening a light buffet supper and maybe a glass of port or two and so to bed.

Boxing Day: Start the day with a cooked breakfast accompanied by a Bloody Mary. Enjoy a Boxing Day walk along the coastal path and then return for a delicious full afternoon tea. Dinner will be a three-course delight.

Non-residents are welcome to join us for Boxing Day lunch. Our menu consists of three courses for only £65 per person.

Wednesday 27th December: Wake to the waves, indulge in a full Cornish breakfast before checking out of the Driftwood. Don't forget to take your presents with you! (Guests are asked to vacate rooms by 11am).
