“Truly special place in Cornwall”
If you can get a room in this lovely little hotel then consider yourself lucky. If you can get a table at the wonderful restaurant congratulations. Everything is wonderful here from the delicious breakfast, to the complimentary coffee/tea delivered to your room in the morning, to the gracious hosts, and beautiful beach front location. Stroll down the path to the semi-private beach, hike a along a coastal path to a nearby village. When staying here you can truly feel like you are getting away from it all. The rooms were beautiful and the beds amazing. I can't recommend this place enough. (Extract from Trip Advisor 2011)

“Roseland excellence”
Well I say, It's not often that I can honestly report that I can't find anything to moan about but there it is. I can't. Well placed on the Roseland for access to all kinds of things, Eden Project, pubs in Falmouth, all kinds. Jolly good restaurant with marvelous well thought out and presented food and nicely priced. Good clean comfortable rooms, with, for our part, an amazing view. Ticks all the right boxes (Extract Trip Advisor 2011)

“A beautiful hotel in a stunning setting that achieves excellence”
The Driftwood Hotel has been imaginatively and creatively designed to blend effortlessly into its beautiful surroundings set amongst gardens leading down to a lovely Cornish beach. What could be a more relaxing treat after walking along the coastal path, than to return to fine dining at its best then sink into a comfortable armchair in front of a blazing fire to enjoy an after dinner coffee. “Perfect place to get away and relax”
Excellent hotel and wonderful location. We went to driftwood for a short break for my husbands birthday - the hotel really lived up to the write ups on trip advisor and others. The food is excellent as is the service. In fact the service was just right - everything done for you but gently - no standing on ceremony or making a fuss. (Extract Trip Advisor 2011)

“Dreamy Cornish hotel”
Straddling a cliff overlooking its own secluded sandy cove, the Driftwood pretty much stands as a paradigm for the Cornish seaside hotel. It ticks all the boxes - creative and charming owners, equally charming staff, a talented chef, a very pretty restaurant, relaxing lounges, pleasant garden, nicely thought-out rooms. All in a sort of Cape Cod style with grey-blue clapboard much in evidence. (Extract Trip Advisor 2011)

“A Rare Treat”
Visiting in a cold winter period so not the best weather for sitting outside and enjoying the wonderful views. A great location set above the beach in a quiet corner of Cornwall. It's a small hotel, stylish with a country house hotel feel but a contemporary style. The food is superb and the best I have had. The staff are friendly, attentive and eager to help. You get the feel that service is seen as important and you are very well looked after here. I would love to come back in spring or summer to enjoy the grounds and sit outside and dine. A very relaxing break where you get well looked after. (Extract Trip Advisor 2010)
