MICHELIN STAR 2012

We are very proud that our chef, Chris Eden, has been awarded a Michelin Star in this years Michelin Guide to Great Britain and Ireland.  The Michelin guide is arguably the most revered restaurant guide in the world amongst chefs and restaurant critics and it is a tremendous achievement for Chris and his team.

Following our César award in 2010 for Cornish Hotel of the Year, we are delighted that we have kept our listing and pleased so many of their readers. The Good Hotel is one of the few independent guides in the UK and our thanks to all its followers and contributors.

AA RESTAURANT GUIDE 2012

We are delighted to announce that the AA has reconfirmed the third rosette for driftwood. The AA awards three rosettes only to “outstanding restaurants demanding recognition well beyond the local area”.

The 2012 AA Hotel Guide reconfirms driftwood three red stars and names the hotel as “Inspectors’ Choice”. This award “recognises the very best hotels in Britain and Ireland. These hotels offer consistently outstanding levels of quality, comfort, cleanliness and customer care.”
