We are all delighted to announce that Chris Eden and his team have retained their Michelin star at the driftwood. Chris is the first Cornishman to receive a Michelin star for a restaurant in Cornwall.

We could go on, but let’s leave that to the Guide Books. Come and experience Driftwood’s Restaurant for yourself. There are no extravagant promises, only a guarantee of the freshest, finest food, served in driftwood’s three rossette restaurant, with its stunning views across the sea. When the weather is warm we light hurricane lamps on the deck to enjoy pre-dinner drinks and after dinner coffee.

 

We are sorry, but we don't have very young children in the restaurant in the evening. 


Chris Eden, our head chef, is passionate about locally-sourced food. One promise we will make is to offer wonderful fish and shellfish from Cornish waters; that our meat is locally reared. Children staying with us have no need for a special menu - early suppers are prepared from fresh, and seasonal produce. Not a chicken nugget in sight!
