“Turning leaves, a mellow orange sun…”
Autumn can be a melancholy month but driftwood has no air of end-of-Summer. The weather is still warm, tourists have gone, but our beach and coastal walks are flooded with gentle sun. Come and stay in October - perhaps visit the Eden Project, St Ives or the Lost Gardens of Heligan, in peace. Come back to driftwood, smell the wild mushrooms, and red wine on our earthy Autumn menus.
